PROCEDURE OF OIL PULLING

 1. Consume a tablespoon of oil in the mouth on a clear stomach in the morning.

2. In the case of Kavala Gandusha, swirl the oil between your teeth. In the case of Kavala Graha, retain the oil without swishing and then release it.

3. The saliva begins to appear milky and watery as it combines with the oil, indicating that it is saturated with toxins that have been extracted from the oral cavity and body. Spit the water out after this occurs.

4. Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth.

As per the Charaka Samhita (Ancient Ayurvedic encyclopedia), the teeth will gradually become whiter, plaque will vanish, poor breath and appetite will improve, and one will experience a sense of energy and health. Additionally, it is believed to alleviate Kapha imbalances and treat a variety of ailments, including migraines, heart and renal issues, women's diseases, ulcers, and intestinal disorders. Ayurveda suggests that this discipline be implemented in order to maintain a wholesome lifestyle.
