Miracle Hair Oil
An old tribal-style recipe: extra virgin black sesame oil infused with hibiscus, fenugreek and Indian gooseberry (amla). The omega fatty acids in sesame oil help moisturise the scalp and protect hair from everyday damage.
Key ingredients
- Extra virgin black sesame oil
- Hibiscus
- Fenugreek
- Indian gooseberry (amla)
What it does
- Deeply moisturises scalp and hair
- Leaves hair soft and manageable
- Suitable for all hair types
How to use
Part the hair and apply a little oil to the scalp. Massage with your fingertips for a few minutes, then work any remaining oil through the lengths. Leave for at least 30 minutes – or overnight – and wash out with a mild shampoo. Use 2–3 times a week.

When to apply hair oil?
Hair oils can be applied to damp hair after the hair is shampooed and conditioned and air dried
What does a hair oil actually do?
It coats the hair shaft, which reduces the friction and swelling that cause breakage, and it conditions a dry scalp. That is why regular oiling makes hair look fuller and feel smoother — you keep more of the length you already have.
How do I wash it out?
Do not wet your hair first. Work shampoo into the dry, oiled hair, lather, then rinse — adding water to oil first makes it much harder to shift. A second, lighter shampoo usually finishes the job.
How much oil should I use?
Less than you think. Start with two or three drops warmed between your palms for the lengths, or about a teaspoon for a full scalp oiling on shoulder-length hair. You can always add more; washing out too much takes two shampoos.
Will this suit my hair type?
Fine or oily hair does best with a light application on the mid-lengths and ends only, once a week. Thick, curly or coily hair can take a full scalp-and-lengths oiling twice a week. If your scalp is prone to build-up, keep the oil off the roots.
Can we leave oil on hair for 3 days?
Leaving your oil on your hair for more than one day is a bad idea. Even one day is not recommended since it can cause the oil to form a layer on your scalp, clogging your pores, accumulating dandruff and attracting dirt. Apart from that, it will make your scalp constantly feel greasy and dirty.
